About Your Role

As a Construction Project Manager at Åhléns, you will be responsible for driving and leading our larger construction and establishment projects from start to finish. You will manage new store openings and renovations of existing stores. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our stores have the best conditions and maintain a balance between function, design, and customer experience.

Examples of Responsibilities: 

• Manage larger and smaller renovation/reconstruction as well as new construction/closure projects.

• Set timelines, quality standards, milestones, and budgets for the project and ensure that plans are kept within the framework.

• Lead the design process including furnishings, construction documents, consultants, IT, VM, building permits, etc.

• Select and procure suppliers, both long-term and project-specific.

• Order furnishings.

• Act as a liaison between landlord and tenant and ensure continued good conditions through networking and relationship building.

• Work proactively and with good planning while ensuring clear communication between internal and external stakeholders.

You Bring with You:

• A few years of experience in managing and leading construction projects within retail.

• Experience of the entire construction process from signed contract to completed project.

• Experience working with commercial properties.

About the Recruitment

The position is a full-time temporary role for 1 year, starting as soon as possible. You will belong to our headquarters at Dalagatan 100.
